Have you ever held someone else’s baby and didn’t want to give them back? I did! This Newborn Portrait Session was nothing short from spectacular!

This handsome fella came over to the studio for his Newborn Portrait Session the other day! Davis had my heart at hello. At 7 days old, he already has so many cute features–– adorable baby rolls and the sweetest lips! He looks like a little man, especially in the stylish hat we put him in.

This Newborn Portrait Session was an especial treat for me to do, because Davis’s dad is an old friend. We went to Sinclair Secondary School together way back when. And, he also happens to be an extremely talented photographer. You can check out his work here: Trenell Moses Photography.

Little Davis was a dream to work with. He slept throughout the entire session. We were able to capture some great family portraits as well as some with his proud sister. I have so many favourite portraits from this session but the one image I am most proud of is by far is the froggy pose. As a photographer, I love pushing myself to try new things and this is one pose that I hesitated on for a long time. I achieved this look by doing a composite, putting two images together, to ensure Davis’ safety.
