I giggle with excitement every time I get a message from Lauren asking me to capture their family. Over two years ago, (feels like we’ve been friends for … ever) reached out during my Limited Edition Sessions at Christmas. Her sweet daughter Ava was born to model. Her personality and facial expressions were priceless and continue to be exactly that… priceless.

This year, their family welcomed their baby boy Carter. His newborn session was a dream… his easy going temperament and smiles for miles had us melting and my ovaries hurting!

With toddlers, we prefer to start our baby sessions with the family pictures first. This allows us to get the very best from Ava (or any toddler) that walks into our studio. This portion usually takes up to 30 minutes and then they are free as a bird. The remainder of the session is approximately two hours which is often very challenging for a toddler to stay in the studio. Depending on the family, some choose to have a family member pick up their oldest, or some families will have Dad will bring them to the park near the studio or McDonald’s since it’s a short walk from the Studio and a great indoor option as it has a play area.

In total our session lasted just over two and a half hours and his parents left with memories they will treasure for a life time. Thank you Lauren and Ryan for trusting me time and time again with your beautiful family! I can’t wait to capture them as they grow!
